Phil and Jen Snell and their two children Luke and Faith have been with Xtreme Mercy since September 2012. After serving three years in Marabá with the Bergens they felt God calling them further afield, little did they know just how far. In 2016 they moved over 2,000 km across the country in their VW Kombi bus to the coastal city of João Pessoa to plant a church. Since their arrival their story has been full of twists and turns and they now find themselves in addition to planting a church, ministering to women and men trapped in prostitution, praying for them on the street and holding a monthly church on the beach and working on ways to help free them from the situations they are trapped in. Above all, bringing them the good news that they have a heavenly father who loves them.
The Snells love what they get to do and see their life as missionaries as a great privilege.
