Rick and Deanna love church-planting. “This is the most effective long-term way to help the poor, and to provide lasting community transformation.”
A neighborhood church will: a) Help connect people to God, b) Help the poor in their neighborhood, c) Provide a safe community for those who want to learn helpful life skills.- Rick is the leader of the Marabá Mission. They have a goal of helping to start 1,000 Vineyard churches in Northern Brazil. Currently they are training Brazilian leaders to equip people to host Discovery Group Bible Studies with unsaved friends and relatives. Along with this is training in prayer. “As we are transformed God attracts people to Himself.”
- Rick and Deanna are the Vineyard Church Missions Partnership Coordinators in Brazil. Vineyard leaders in Angola, Mozambique, Portugal, and Spain/Morocco are inviting Brazilians to come and help. “Partnerships are how we can be the most effective and helpful.”
- Rick and Deanna are prayerfully considering how to start an effective prison ministry.
